Martyn Severn

Director

Martyn is Director and Co-Owner of Marley, bringing over 20 years of construction industry experience, including 13 years specialising in groundworks and civil engineering. His hands-on knowledge has helped establish Marley as a trusted partner for national housebuilders and clients across the UK.

As Director, Martyn oversees site operations, client relationships, tenders and staff development, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency. He is particularly passionate about developing employees and creating opportunities for progression.

Martyn is proud that, as Marley has grown, it has retained its family-run values — “big enough to cope, but small enough to care.”

Lee Nesbitt

Director

Lee is Director and Co-Owner of Marley, bringing over 25 years of construction and groundworks experience. Having progressed from labourer to Site Manager, his extensive hands-on knowledge and leadership experience have played a key role in Marley’s continued growth.

Since co-founding Marley in 2018, Lee has helped build a successful, family-orientated business, overseeing site operations, project delivery and new tender opportunities, with a strong focus on safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Lee is passionate about employee wellbeing and development, believing that those willing to work hard should be given the opportunity to progress, develop and succeed.

Kayla Wright

Director & Head of Accounts

Kayla is Director and Head of Accounts at Marley, bringing a strong background in business, training and apprenticeships. Since helping establish Marley in 2018, she has played an important role in supporting the company’s continued growth and development.

Kayla oversees company accounts, bookkeeping and expenditure, while also supporting HR, recruitment, Health & Safety and general business administration. Her organised approach and attention to detail help ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Kayla takes pride in being part of a business built through shared ambition, hard work and teamwork, knowing her role directly contributes to Marley’s continued success.

Laura Severn

Director & Head of Payroll

Laura is Director and Head of Payroll at Marley, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance and cost control. Since helping establish the business in 2018, she has played an important role in supporting Marley’s continued growth and development.

Laura oversees payroll, purchasing and supplier relationships, working closely with HR and finance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Her organised and proactive approach helps ensure the business operates efficiently while maintaining high standards.

Laura takes pride in Marley’s strong sense of teamwork and family-orientated culture, believing its success comes from professionalism, collaboration and genuine care for employees and clients.

Shaun Nesbitt

Contracts Manager

Shaun is Contracts Manager at Marley, bringing over 10 years of experience across civils and groundworks. With a strong background in site delivery and project management, he plays an important role in overseeing projects from start to finish.

Shaun manages programme schedules, carries out regular site inspections and works closely with clients and site teams to ensure projects progress smoothly. His approach maintains a strong focus on safety, efficiency, quality and meeting client expectations.

Shaun takes pride in being part of Marley and contributing to the company’s continued growth while maintaining high standards across every project.

Andy Stamford

Contracts Manager

Andy is Contracts Manager at Marley, bringing over 40 years of construction industry experience and more than 26 years in senior management roles. His extensive career spans housing developments, conservation projects and high-end new build homes.

Andy oversees multiple sites, working closely with site managers to manage programmes, Health & Safety, costs, labour and plant requirements. He also works closely with clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

Andy values Marley’s family feel and takes pride in sharing his experience, supporting the team and maintaining high standards across the business.

Craig Marsh

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Craig is Senior Quantity Surveyor at Marley, bringing over 20 years of experience across construction, civil engineering and groundworks. His extensive career includes delivering projects across housing, healthcare, education, retail and commercial sectors.

Craig oversees commercial and contractual management, including procurement, subcontractors, valuations, forecasting and final accounts. His strong estimating experience and practical approach help ensure projects deliver value while supporting Marley in securing new opportunities.

Craig takes pride in working collaboratively, solving challenges and using his experience to achieve successful outcomes for clients and the wider team.

Laura Jane

HR Administrator

Laura Jane works in HR Administration at Marley, bringing over 11 years of experience across administration and sales. Her strong organisational skills and attention to detail help support the smooth running of the business.

Laura Jane supports HR and provides assistance to the Finance team, using her experience to manage data, improve processes and keep operations organised and efficient. She enjoys the variety of her role and the opportunity to continually develop her skills.

Laura Jane is always looking for ways to improve organisation and make processes run more smoothly — and if there’s a Christmas party to plan, chances are she started organising it in June!
